Moduel designed and manufactured the ÅSKVÄDER range that IKEA sold for two and a half years — 1.2 million units, in more than 100,000 homes. The range has shrunk and stock is patchy. We still make it, and we now sell the whole system ourselves, including the parts IKEA never carried.

It is the piece the whole system depends on, and the reason people worry about being left with a connector nobody makes any more. That worry is fair when a retailer controls supply. It goes away when you buy from the manufacturer.

Is IKEA ÅSKVÄDER discontinued?
IKEA has reduced the range and stock is patchy from market to market — some items have gone from IKEA's site entirely. The system itself is not discontinued. Moduel designed and manufactures it, and sells the full range direct, so availability no longer depends on one retailer's range decisions.
Will Moduel parts work with my existing ÅSKVÄDER?
Yes. Same connector, same 16A 250V rating. You can mix Moduel and ÅSKVÄDER parts freely in the same chain.
Where can I buy the ÅSKVÄDER Schuko cable?
From us. The Power Cord Px with Schuko plug is in stock and ships across Europe. It is the same cord, from the company that made the original.
Is it the same quality as the IKEA version?
It is the same product, from the same manufacturer, to the same EU and Schuko certification, in halogen-free materials. The connector design is patented — 12 granted patents across seven countries.
Can I make my ÅSKVÄDER setup smart?
Yes. The Smart Matter Control Module clips into an existing chain and works with Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa over Matter. No hub, no rewiring, no electrician.
How many modules can I safely connect?
Up to ten outlets in one chain, 16A 250V total across the whole chain. The rating is for the chain, not for each module — so it is the total load that matters, not how many pieces you click together.
